About Us

Coordinated housing built on community partnership

MissionCare Housing Network is a division of MissionCare Family Services, dedicated to expanding access to safe, stable housing through collaboration with landlords, healthcare providers, veteran organizations, agencies, and nonprofits.

Mission

Our mission

To expand access to safe, stable housing by coordinating opportunities and partnerships that support individuals, families, veterans, older adults, and people with disabilities in achieving long-term housing stability.

Vision

Our vision

Communities where housing is coordinated, not fragmented — where every person seeking housing has a knowledgeable partner, and every housing provider has a professional organization to work with.

Core Values

What guides our work

  • Honor

We treat every person, partner, and household with dignity and respect.

  • Compassion

We listen first and coordinate with patience and understanding.

  • Integrity

We describe our services accurately and never overpromise outcomes.

  • Collaboration

We build durable partnerships across housing, health, and human services.

  • Accountability

We document our work, follow through, and communicate clearly.

  • Stability

We measure success by long-term housing stability, not placements alone.

Our Story

Built from a simple gap in the community

MissionCare Family Services was founded to serve households navigating complex human services systems. Again and again, our team heard the same challenge: people were approved for support but still could not find housing, while landlords with available units had no reliable organization to coordinate with.

MissionCare Housing Network was created to close that gap. Instead of becoming another housing provider, we became the coordination layer — the partner that hospitals, agencies, veteran organizations, and property owners can call.

Today, our coordinators work across Maryland communities to align documentation, program requirements, and available housing opportunities so families spend less time repeating their story and more time moving forward.

Next Steps

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Whether you need housing support, want to list available units, or need to refer a client, MissionCare is ready to coordinate.

MissionCare coordinates housing opportunities through community partnerships. Submission of a request does not guarantee housing placement. Placement depends on eligibility, program requirements, funding availability, and available housing opportunities.
